Day 174: “Heroes” – David Bowie

Heroes è una canzone profonda e toccante, tra le più belle di David Bowie, scritta in un momento difficile della sua vita. Fu pubblicata nell’album omonimo del 1977 e costituì con esso una reazione ai suoi problemi personali legati ad alcool e cocaina. I protagonisti della canzone sono due amanti e lo sfondo è il muro di Berlino, città in cui Bowie in quel tempo abitava. Heroes è stata utilizzata tra l’altro nel film Christiane F. – Noi, I Ragazzi Dello Zoo Di Berlino, in cui Bowie interpreta sè stesso (la protagonista è infatti sua fan) ed ha anche inciso una versione in tedesco, Helden.
