Day 49: “I’m Still here” – Goo Goo Dolls.

Today’s song, covered in italian by Max Pezzali, “Ci Sono Anch’io“, is part of the soundtrack of Disney’s movie “Treasure Planet” , science fictional version of “The Treasure Island” by Stevenson.

“I’m still here” was written and composed entirely by John Rzeznick,  Goo Goo Dolls‘ lead singer.

The american band, formed during 1986, has now already made 9 album. Started as heavy metal/trash band, the sound of the band had its development during the years towards pop rock. The change of style brought the band to the very first hit on 1998 with the single “Iris“, used as soundtrack of the movie “City of Angels“.
