Nothing new about choosing a woman as lead singer of a Metal Band: we already had Tarja Turunen and Annette Olsen performing with Nightwish, Sharon den Adel with Within Temptation, Cristina Scabbia with Lacuna Coil, and so on, in a neverending list.
Born in 2003, “All Ends” project started thanks to another great band, “In Flames“. At first, Jesper Strömblad and Björn Gelotte, lead voice and guitarist of “In Flames”, were former part of the band. Judging by the two album released until now by All Ends, the line up changhe has not ruined the sound, very particular and heavy.
Today’s song, “Still Believe”, is taken from the first album of the band, in which the two lead voices are Emma Gelotte and Tinna Karlsdotter (Emma left the band on 2009, replaced by Jonna Sailon). From the same album, you can also check the cover made of “Apologize” by Timbaland: a so different sound!
At the moment there are no tour dates available, and the official website is not updated: let’s hope in a good surprise coming soon from Sweden!
