Day 151: “Did My Time” – Korn

Korn are considered the nu metal genre’s starter with Deftones, and today’s song was the first single of their sixth album Take a Look in the Mirror, released in 2003.

You can find great riff in this track, created by James “Munky” Shaffer, that caught Paramount Pictures’ attension. In fact they decided to put Did My Time in the Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life movie’s soundtrack. Video leading actress is a wonderful Angelina Jolie performing the virtual heroine Lara Croft.

A cohesive and unified album, appreciated and recommended.
