Day 137: “You’re a Wolf” – Sea Wolf

!!!ITALIANO!!!

Indie folk music project from Los Angeles, created by Alex Brown Church after the failed collaboration with his first band, Irving, Sea Wolf released first album Leaves in the River in 2007.  Taking its name from novelist Jack London’s 1904 seafaring adventure, this band evolved over time obtaining more and more importance and performing with a rotating ensemble of backing musicians, that accompany the lead singer Alex Church.

Today’s song is part of Zombieland movie’s soundtrack and The Vampire Diaries drama television serie’s soundtrack. The Sea Wolf’s music was defined “a blend of swirling melodies, literary balladry and damaged art-rock composition” by Interview magazine.

I’m runnin’ on the northeast street, cut to the ocean ‘fore I run too low.
