Day 83: “The Rising” – Gods of Blitz

Today we are in Berlin, where thanks to Sebastian Gabel, Olli Wong, Jens Giovanni Freudenberg and Jakob Kiersch were born Gods of Blitz, an indie rock  band, launced by their first album Stolen Horse, in 2005, which had immediately a great success in Germany, as to begin to open Wolfmother‘s performance.

And today’s song is just taken from their first work in studio, in which we can feel the pop, punk and almost metal influences that carachterize the music of this german band. The energetic rhythm, fast and stimulating, with the peculiar Sebastian’s voice, a little hoarse, create an involving song, unmissable, of a band maybe still unvervalue, but definetely to find out.
